<text>Right off the bat, this image resonated with me a lot because of the phrase ‘Trust the Process’ tatted on one’s skin. The girl in the image is a friend of mine who has competed in gymnastics and horse-back riding for most of her life. The tattoos mean that no matter what happens, it is part of the process to succeeding. This was very meaningful to me because not only do I relate to this message personally, but I also relate it to today’s situation. A lot of people today are struggling with staying at home and not losing their minds over quarantine. However, it is by ‘trusting the process’ that we will get out of this situation that we are in today. By staying home, being and keeping ourselves healthy and practicing social distancing, we will make it out of this pandemic sooner rather than later.</text>

This park has been around for as long as I can remember and having to deal with its closure is harder than it looks. Not being able to access your childhood memories or the area where you usually exercise can have a big impact in your life, especially if it’s a place where you come to find freedom after a long day. Due to COVID-19, public areas have been closed or temporarily blocked off due to social distancing and in an attempt to stop the spread; therefore, parks like Memorial Park are off limits.</text>

<text>The story and reason behind this image is very similar to the one about ‘Glow’. However, this has extra meaning as it was a message written by a person and left in a park for everyone to see. In the image we can see a bright pink rock coming out between the plant with the word ‘smile’ written on it. In the image we get a great color contrast which allows the viewer to automatically notice the rock.
The beauty of this image is the message that has been passed on by an unknown person with the goal to brighten up someone’s day. Additionally, the message I’d like to give out with this image is to stay positive and to keep working to better ourselves so that we can all thrive and survive this pandemic.</text>

Recently, my youngest sister celebrated her 10th birthday during the quarantine. This image, to an extent, represented both my feelings and her feelings as we felt disappointed and sad that her age became double digits for the first time during such a bad time. The brightness of the balloon and the lettering represents the beauty of what a celebration should be but the gray around it represents the negativity that COVID had brought. Every day, someone is celebrating something but is limited to how happy and joyous they can be due to the conditions of the world.</text>
