My family developed a new pastime to bond and preoccupy themselves during lockdown: playing the video game “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.” My brother already played the game as a kid, so it’s funny to see my parents start playing.
This image was taken at my local grocery right after the pandemic began. This was the toilet paper and paper towel isle of the grocery store. Many people were collecting and getting enough toilet paper so they would never run out.
This is a poem about a way in which I've found peace during this dark and scary time. This was written for the course "Foundations of Curriculum in American Schools".
